arch 8th was International Women’s Day and the
world took a moment to celebrate and share the
incredible contributions and work that females
contribute to society and culture. One day isn’t
truly enough to capture all the brilliance women
Mbring into this world and it seems fitting to take
some more time and truly celebrate the women of the dance music
scene and the incredible impact they have on the culture and sounds
of the landscape. While many rightfully will point out the continued
inequality in releases and festival line-ups between the genders, today
let’s focus on the positives and shout out to the many women who are
paving the way for the next generation of creators.
