Alongside this, they continue to grow the aspect of their
career that puts them in the spotlight. Releasing a steady
stream of singles both solo and with the likes of Buy Now
(Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso) and Anyma, they’re
proving that they’re ready to take over the scene in all
different aspects.

In 2024, PARISI are set for one of the biggest breakthrough
years of their career, with an abundance of high-profile
collaborations, singles and live shows in the works. Sitting
down with them, we went through their journey to get to this
point, and where they’re going from here.

How did you both get started in music, and what was it
that initially made you want to create a career out of it?
MARCO: We started to approach music because of our
father, who was a piano and organ player, and now he’s
retired. In our house, we had a lot of instruments which we
gravitated towards for pure imitation. We saw our father
playing these instruments and we wanted to do the same.
Just by doing that every single day, we started to get quite
good at it.

JACK: Marco started as a piano player, that was his first
instrument, and he was able to play melodies when he was
three years old, copying the records that our father would
play on vinyl.

MARCO: That’s the time that I realised that I had perfect
pitch, which made it easy to find and play the melody on
the piano.

JACK: For some reason, which I still don’t know to this day,
I gravitated more towards drums. My mother and father
bought me bongos for Christmas. Since then, I’ve never
stopped playing percussion and drums. I would try to go to
piano lessons but on the keyboard I would always put in the
drum sounds. After that, Marco and I played literally every
day of our lives together, from jazz to blues to rock and
pop. I started to take drum lessons and Marco took piano
lessons.

I think the decision to create a career out of this came
naturally. We just gravitated towards music.

MARCO: There was a moment where our father said to us,
“guys, you’re becoming really good at this and I think that it
should be your career.” After that it was time to step up, find
better teachers, and this happened when we were thirteen
years old.
