Back in 2022, Meet Me At The Hotel invited thousands through the
Aitana’s doors, as the ultimate destination for industry professionals
and artists alike. Collaborating with brands such as ourselves at We
Rave You, Slam FM, and Adapt and artists the likes of Afrojack, James
Hype and Meduza, Meet Me At The Hotel has garnered itself a stellar
reputation as the prime meeting hub for dance partners during ADE.

This year, the event has descended on Amsterdam once again, bigger
and better than before, designed once again with new business
connections in mind. Pioneering another all-inclusive event, Meet Me At
The Hotel offers up another comprehensive ADE experience that merges
showcases, office spaces, networking drinks and leisure activities, while
in the hospitable hands of Room Mate Aitana.

We Rave You have played another key part in making this year’s event
a success. Across the course of the week, the Meet Me At The Hotel
programme has seen us utilise Oscar, the hotels largest function room
based on the ground floor. There, we have combined with Bootshaus
for an artist showcase, as well as our very own We Rave You Tech demo,
masterclass and meet and greet sessions. Of course there have been a
whole host of other activities across the rest of the hotel, adding to the
typical hustle and bustle of ADE.

Behind the extensive Meet Me At The Hotel programme is Bjoern
Wilbrink, CEO and Head of Operations, and his team of networking
masterminds. With over 15+ years of experience working in the
entertainment space, we were lucky enough to sit down with him, and
discuss everything that goes into organising an event like this, and why
he believes Meet Me At The Hotel is so key to industry collaboration.

Thank you for taking the time to speak to the We Rave You Magazine
this month. We’ve all been really excited about the ‘Meet Me At The
Hotel’ (MMATH) event at ADE this year, can you outline for our readers
how the concept works?

MMATH brings together a unique mix of global festival and event
organisers, DJ’s, artists, creative minds, and music producers, under
one roof for a total of five days. It gives the attendees the opportunity to
interact and enjoy the expertise of specialists across the music industry.

Following the success of the inaugural edition, this year MMATH looks
to create an increasingly enriching experience, offering a mix of
showcases, interviews, live streams, and other interactive activities.

Tell us a little bit about how you brought all the organisations
together for this year’s showcase, and why you feel collaboration is so
important in this industry.
The first edition of MMATH in 2022 was a big success with a big variety of
the music industry professionals from all over the world gathering with
us. Bringing together the different networks from our partners, we have
received a large number of requests from organisations that wanted to
be part of this year’s edition.

Collaboration in this industry has always been the key factor for success
industry-wide, in my opinion. By collaborating with, and utilising each
other’s expertise, the music industry will keep developing. We as MMATH
are very pleased that we can offer this platform and be part of this
beautiful, on-going development.
