EDITORIAL > 10 FESTIVALS TO LOOK FORWARD TO THIS SUMMER
TOMORROWLAND
BOOM, BELGIUM: 21-23 & 28-30 JULY
If you’re unaware of what Tomorrowland is by now we’d be surprised, especially after the
sheer spectacle of their three-weekend edition last year. The famous Boom festival returns for
only two weekends this year, however the madness can still be expected in abundance with
its comprehensive coverage of each and every electronic sub-genre across its many, many
stages. At the heart of the action is its specially designed mainstage, where you can bask in
the sounds of the likes of The Chainsmokers, Alesso, Martin Garrix and Tïesto once again this
year. Underground artists also come above board once more, with the likes of Amelie Lens,
Kölsh and Tale of Us stealing their share of the limelight on the big stage.
CREAMFIELDS NORTH
DARESBURY, UK: 24-27 AUGUST
Leading traditions in the UK, Creamfields North still boasts the biggest annual dance music gath-
ering in the UK. With the likes of the Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta and Calvin Harris at the
helm the festival is set to take place during its typical August Bank Holiday weekend slot. Testa-
ment to this year’s stacked lineup, tickets sold out in record time this year, with the likes of Diplo,
Eric Prydz and Joel Corry bolstering a must-see lineup. With Creamfields you can also guarantee
the finest production, with its striking new Runway stage returning for a second year running. As
with most of the festivals on our list, you won’t have to miss out on all the action, as the festival is
sure to stream some of the highlights live on social media.
WE ARE FSTVL
LONDON, UK: 25-27 AUGUST
In East London, We Are FSTVL continues to turn heads, as it brandishes another strong combina-
tion of house and techno acts for its 10th anniversary edition in 2023. Having become one of the
hottest UK dance events on the calendar, the festival has added camping to its 3-day experience
for the first time ever, inviting fans to explore every single intricacy of its expansive multi-day
lineup. Expect to see the likes of Fisher, John Summit, Carl Cox, Vintage Culture, Loco Dice and
Reinier Zonneveld among many, many more if you happen to find yourself in sunny (or rainy)
Essex this summer. What’s more special, is that the mainstage will see The Prodigy take to the
stage, now without their iconic frontman, Keith Flint.
MYSTERYLAND
HAARLEMMERMEER, NETHERLANDS: 25-27 AUGUST
In creating this list, we couldn’t ignore the world’s longest-running electronic music festival in the
form of Mysteryland. Famous for championing the Hardstyle sound in particular, organisers will
look to the likes of Hardwell and Headhunterz to provide the soundtrack at the forefront of another
jam-packed lineup. Of course over 300 other artists also make it worth your while, with HI-LO, Meduza,
Timmy Trumpet and MORTEN providing other potential highlights. As the leading dance festival in the
Netherlands, it is a unique event as there’s lots more to do aside from just enjoying the music. Festi-
val-goers from over 100 different countries are able to take in the many carefully designed wonders
of the festival grounds and can even roller-skate atop the iconic Mysteryland Pyramid.
