2022 marks 25 years of Infected Mushroom, so firstly we’d like
to offer our congratulations on such an illustrious career so far!
What does it mean to you both to have made it to this milestone
together after all these years?
Thank you, we are grateful for the ride. It means a lot that our fans
have loyally supported us over the years, and we are stoked that
the younger fans have been able to hop on the Infected train too!

25 years is a long time to stay active in the music industry having
created music together since the ‘90s. How has your sound
developed over time and would you say your approach to music
changed over those years?
Our style has evolved over the years, but we’ve always had a
signature Infected sound. If we were still making the stuff we made
in the 90’s, I don’t think we would have stood the test of time. We
always strive to make interesting, relevant, and exciting music
which pushes boundaries; this has been consistent since day one.

How did the idea for a new album and world tour originally come
about? Was it always the plan to mark the milestone in this way?
It wasn’t a longstanding plan to mark the milestone, but we had a
lot of time in the pandemic, and we were making cool tracks, so the
whole concept came together fairly organically.

Tell us about the emotions you both experienced when you
brought your IM25 show to Tel-Aviv, in your home country.
This was a huge moment for us. The show was originally postponed
due to Covid, so the anticipation level was high. It was humbling
and fulfilling to play for 20,000 fans from our home country. We also
brought many big Israeli music artists from different styles (and
different eras) to perform with us, on stage; this appealed to a wide
range of patrons from various demographics. Was really touching
to see how our music has impacted fans from young to old.
